What 107+ students and developers say about our Kotlin, Ktor, and Spring Boot courses
I was looking for a good tutorial about spring boot with kotlin and i found this tutorial. It is one of the cleanest tutorial following best practices.
A great course! It has opened up a horizon of opportunities beyond the ordinary.
What I really like:
The structure and content of the course, which allows me to advance at my own pace, as each lesson is short and allows me to delve deeper and experiment. The challenges are wonderful, and I truly feel like I've learned the concepts covered. There are many explicit and implicit tips about tools and coding. It has left me with great insights about security. The documentation, both the readings and the technical references, are excellent. The professor, Piotr, generates a vibe that makes every lesson enjoyable. Everything works . The course is spectacular.
And as Piotr says, when he's coding a function: "Beautiful!"
Thank you for sharing your knowledge in this course. I enjoyed finding professional-level content that I can apply in real life. I am ready to start my first backend in "Ktor" right now.
This series offers truly awesome practical knowledge. Could you please share an example of a higher-order function?
Wow found this underrated channel, new subscribers 🎉
Very nice, you’ve convinced me to give this a try!
Excellent video my friend
Thank you very much. Is it stable for large uis?
Great course, very useful to understand jwt management. Thx
This is the best course on the web about KTor. It has a lot of good information with practical and concise content. I am super excited about the new content in the future.
Piotr does a great job of explaining Ktor and Kotlin among 3 microservices and a chat application. By following along you learn the fine details of Ktor, several ways to handle data and persistence. You learn a LOT! Piotr walks you through how Ktor works with authentication, authorization, JWT, Exposed, Postgres, Mysql, Mongodb, Redis and many ways to handle Ktor's routing.
I bought his Ktor-Backend Course last week. It's soo amazing 💥 There is no comparable product at this level out there. Fact ... and it's super cheap. The early bird version has only cost me 29 euros. Others would charge 299 euros for such a course. Props to u Codersee ✌Keep up the good work!
I found out about this course through the developer community, and it has been an excellent experience. The course is well-structured, covering everything from the basics of Ktor to advanced implementations with databases, WebSockets, and authentication. I particularly enjoyed the practical approach, where each module builds on the previous one, allowing me to apply my knowledge immediately. Unlike other courses, this one provides real-world challenges and hands-on projects, making learning more engaging and effective.
I recently completed this course on JWT authentication in Kotlin, and it exceeded my expectations! The instructor did an excellent job explaining JWT concepts, token creation, validation, and security best practices in a clear and practical way.
Thank you very much!
It is a simple and good tutorial! Well done! Highly recommended!
This is my first Micronaut Kotlin training video, It's really amazing, well done!

Hey Piotr,
Thanks for the course, it's clean, clear and simple code course. Very efficient for any beginners or refreshers.
I am learning Kotlin and needed to implement security in an API, your course helped me a lot and I have learned a little more about Kotlin along the way, Thank you very much for your contribution.
It's amazing please make more content Kotlin with Spring boot
Excelent series! Thank you Piotr.
Thank you men. Awesome abd very helpful video👏
HIGH QUALITY TUTORIAL!!!! This is the one that you were looking for. Codersee explains how to property create the retrofit client, takes you through simple methods slowly building up the complexity and in the end adds interceptors for logging and mutating the request. I have been looking for a good tutorial on retrofit on the web for a couple of last days. THIS ONE IS GREAT! Polish engineers never disappoint. In one hour I got more done than in a day with other tutorials. GOOD JOB! 😀
Hi it's a nice tutorial. Do you have any video about CRUD using Ktor?
Great course
thanks a lot, very nice tutorial, what about creating a crud video, retrofit using kotlin jetpack compose connecting to webapi local postgresql?. thank you.
Thank you so much for this tutorial !!!
Thank you so much. You are extremely clear, and it is very much appreciated. You presented the content in a very understandable way.
Many thanks for your effort taking me to Flyway

This series very helpful, Thank you so muchhhhhh ❤
The tutorial is amazing. Could you please provide the source code if possible?
This is super useful, I'm going through all the videos in the playlist, and I'm so grateful for the effort you put into that 🙂
Excelent content! Congrats!
Bro this channel is exactly what I was looking for to get my uni project realized. Keep going, you can't imagine how useful your content is!
clean and concise explanation thank you
Awesome!
This course fully describes the process of implementing authentication and authorization feature using RESTful API and Spring Security which is why I highly recommend it if you're new to Kotlin and/or RESTful apps development. I'm really surprised it is 100% free to take. Overall I'd say it's a great piece of educational material to improve your skill stack.
I liked the course very much! Among other materials on the internet, this one was straightforward and way less confusing in many aspects. Recommend!
the course is well explained and gave the complete about theory and practical implementation of those theory
thank you
best tutorial on kotlin and spring boot I have ever seen!
Really helpful! Thanks! Concise and accurate information and courses! Really waiting your future courses!
Thank you so much!
I start doing spring boot and kotlin. Honestly there is no ressources showing the path as your tutoriels do. Every time I'm searching for some ressources on the internet, your site is already referenced and when it come to youtube, your channel is the only one proposing that courses. And you touch a very great point by doing JWT tutorials because I was struggling with that. The course is very comprehensive and well structured. Thanks for this amazing work. Your tutorials helps me a lot.
Pretty good video man. Thank you for the effort in making it.
Great tutorial thank you!
I have learned a lot with Codersee, its content is simply very well designed and easy to understand
Excellent course! Simple and straight to the point. Thanks!
Thank you for this excellent course. I admit that it was difficult for me to adapt this video content to my project, but the difficulty was in what I had already done and not in the video content. Helped me a lot. I just wasn't able to implement the refresh token, which unfortunately will have to wait for another time.
Thanks!!!
Exactly what I need! Thank you!
Good quality tutorial, teaching the good practices. I would recommend it to anyone willing to start with latest Spring Boot and wanting to do it well.
Really nice! Thank you
I legit seem to have found a goldmine. Thank you for making great server side stuff using Kotlin man!
Simple, concise and easy to follow contents. Thank you for this amazing series.
Good lesson. Thanks for your effort 👍🏻
Why do you use Date(System.currentTimeMillis())? It seems default constructor Date() does literally the same. P.S. Thank you for the tutorial! This is one of the best tutorials I've ever seen!
this is very nice
ok what an interesting tutorial, you have one more subscriber, I would like to see this same one but the data connected to a mysql database or something like that, but the content is great. Greetings from Colombia
thanks a lot, best course on this topic
This is very useful!
I love this series. If possible at some point in the series touch on using postgres with ktor. I don’t have any interest in android. Not knocking it but i think kotlin has so much potential to be used everywhere & not only on android. Especially with ktor since it’s so simple & flexible to use. I’m saying this so i can build some api’s with ktor & have a front end like qwik, solidjs etc… fetch it. I know qwik can do it all but i like separating my backend stuff & not let the framework handle the front & backend of my app. How kotlin is such an amazing language & just mostly used in android & some spring/springboot shops is amazing to me and sad. I’ve worked in a java shop, so i know that’s mostly the senior devs fault just rejecting change 😂 & no java 21 still sucks compared to kotlin hahaha
Great content!
This tutorial series is a gem. I recently moved from java to kotlin and have been struggling with using spring security with Kotlin. There are a lot of kotlin only tutorials and java+spring tutorials but none of them covers kotlin+spring. Could you also make a full series using spring data jpa and mysql db or convert this tutorial by adding a live database which would cover how kotlin data clases interact with spring jpa.
I have learned brginner level spring boot in java now learning in kotlin. Thanks brother i enjoy your videos. ❤
Best course covering security using kotlin and spring. Exacly what i was looking for!
amazing, thanks so much
Amazing tutorial! Kotlin is such a great language
good stuff man, i would really love a dedicated series with full kotlin full stack application
Interesting topic about hooks. Thanks for the excellent explanation.
wow this is the tutorial I was looking for, I hope you make a video for ktor deployment ❤
Great content as always... 👍🏾
Great content/playlist, it helped me a lot! The only thing missing for it to be exactly what I needed wa to add unit tests for the different endpoints, it could be a good enhancement for this course.
Awesome tutorials
Thank you for the easy explanation!! 👍
thank u for this amazing Content❤
Looks awesome. Thanks for taking the time to create this. 👍🏽
Wow, this was the kotlin + spring course I really wanted. Can I ask you a question while watching?
Translated with Google Translator.
Glad you back to the your channel man 😀 great content !
"Learn Kotlin through practice" is a good way to learn and revise Kotlin. Not only would it be especially beneficial for newbies, but even an experienced developer might find it useful because of these features: - it has lots of examples - it has large number of tests and exercises - it covers both basic and advanced concepts Highly recommended.
Please more tutorials with kotlin and spring
In Piotr's "Learn Kotlin Through Practice", he teaches and builds examples from a great foundation. He's especially good with his Kotlin function examples. And, if you have an object oriented background in, say, Java, he does a great job in illustrating the differences. When you get to his Unit Testing section, that's where Piotr really shines. He gives full and complete examples, including functions and data classes.
thank you, next tutorial spring security with kotlin, please
very good, bring more ktor content
Great tutorial, thank you!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Piotr’s just like a super friendly guy who’s really passionate about these topics that he’s teaching. He’s really good at distilling these topics down into a very clear explanation of the underlying tools and technologies.
I strongly recommend this Kotlin course to everybody who is interested in learning to code, people like Piotr are out there creating learning resources for all of us.
Thanks to codersee what taught me real world concepts which I use in my day to day job.
Very interesting and useful! Thank you! How to validate the input parameters? And how do I work with input parameters if they are more complex than just a string?
Really enjoyed the course!
Wow, such helpful
Thank you very much for this helpful video!
Kudos! Great content and straight to the point.
Hey man! I've just watched your entire playlist and it's great! the content is very precise and the way you handled the containerization section was great too, keep creating!
Haven't seen any better content about kotlin spring webflux
thanks for your videos, really amazing!!
